Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners of Nigeria (NASA), the Nigeria’s Foremost Anthropological and Sociological Experts Confers Esteemed Fellowship Award on Senator Stephen Odey.

Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Odey, Associate Professor of Sociology, an erudite scholar who has published widely over 60 scholarly articles in learned journals across the world, has published four (4) scholarly books on Sociology and law, also contributing to several book chapters, attended international conferences where he did presentations, was earlier today conferred the prestigious Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners of Nigeria (NASA) Fellowship, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to sociology through mentorship, research, academic leadership, and community service, particularly his outstanding contributions to knowledge.

The award and investiture was performed during NASA’s annual conference at Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, themed ‘Rebuilding Nigeria: Approaches to Effective Social Transformation.’ Attendees included prominent academics and industry leaders, such as Professor Ayideji Agboola – Vice Chancellor, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Professor Lanre Olutanyo, former Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, Professor Evelyn Hauwa’u Yusuf, NASA President, and many prominent leaders were in attendance.

Senator Odey thanked NASA, acknowledging the Fellowship Award as an inspiration to further humanity’s interests.
