The Cross River State Government has announced the official opening of the 2026 Examination Registration Portal for all State examinations, including the Primary Six Placement, Junior Secondary School (JS3) Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and Senior Secondary School (SS2) Mock Examinations.

According to a statement issued by the Education Resource Centre, Ministry of Education Headquarters, Calabar, the move is part of efforts to give schools sufficient time to complete registration processes ahead of the examinations.

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Sen. Professor Stephen Odey, approved the opening of the portal, which will be accessible for online registration from 3rd November 2025 to 30th January 2026.

The registration exercise will cover all public and private primary and secondary schools with examination centers duly approved by the Ministry of Education.

The statement further directed that, two weeks after submitting bio-data forms, school heads are to download or request their School Validation Lists from their respective Education Secretaries (ESs) across the Local Government Areas (LGAs). This process is aimed at ensuring error-free registration and allowing schools to review and correct entries before score sheets are produced.

All payments for the registration are to be made through the Ministry’s official portal:
