The Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Students’ Orientation, Mr Anthony Afufu and his team paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey Ph D, in his office at the Ministry of Education Headquarters, Calabar.
The SA thanked the Commissioner for promptly granting them audience as they seek to synergize and partner with the Ministry of Education. They also informed the Commissioner about their intended summit tagged: “Educational Orientation Summit,” to be hosted across Secondary Schools in the State on a date yet to be announced.
The Commissioner warmly received the SA and his team while extending his felicitations to Mr Afufu on his appointment, as he charged him to be focused, the only way to achieve greatness is through determination and hard work, we must all support the State Governor’s determination to revamp the education sector, he stated while encouraging them on their lofty ideas.
